The people behind Studio Taupe — styling, production, and the studio rhythms in between.
Jasmijn is the photographer behind Studio Taupe and a dedicated prop sourcer. With a graphic design background, she knows exactly what to look for on set: shape, tone, material, and how a surface reads under light. When something is missing, she can define it precisely, sketch a new idea, and refine an existing design until it works.
Tom runs production, props, and logistics — keeping shoots calm and deliveries on track. He also keeps the shop side of things steady: stock, planning, and the small details that make ordering straightforward. Calm processes, fewer surprises on set.
Muis is our Maine Coon × Norwegian Forest cat — the unofficial third member of the team. Affectionate and curious, she likes to be at the desk with us; step away for coffee and she’ll claim your chair in a heartbeat. She supervises packing days from the top of a box, weighs in on colour choices with a slow blink, and has strong opinions about anything that rustles. On quiet afternoons she stretches out in a patch of light and reminds us to breathe between deadlines. She adds warmth and a bit of chaos to the studio, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We built this shop from our work on set: calm surfaces, quiet shapes, and tones that do not compete with the subject. Everything is designed to help products read clearly, with faster styling decisions and cleaner reflections.
